Arya Vaidya, a 21-year-old marketing student, has been crowned Miss India Australia 2024. Currently pursuing her degree in Melbourne, Arya is fluent in Marathi and Hindi, alongside English.
Originally from Sydney, Arya is passionate about cultural storytelling. Arya seeks to leverage her Indian heritage and Australian opportunities to make a positive impact. Her interests extend beyond academics, encompassing the world of fashion where she champions individuality and cultural diversity.
An active individual, Arya enjoys playing soccer and gymnastics. Deeply rooted in her Indian heritage, she draws inspiration from platforms that empower women to embrace their identity and voice. Arya believes in leading with confidence, authenticity, and a touch of flair – qualities that reflect her Leo spirit.
Arya Vaidya Selected as Miss India Australia 2024
Arya was chosen as the winner of Miss India Australia 2024 following a rigorous audition process. Her selection was influenced by her impactful social project addressing the mental health and identity challenges faced by Indian women residing in Australia.
Mentored by Raj Suri, Arya will represent Australia internationally Miss India Worldwide pageant in 2025, which will be held either in the USA or India.
