The prime reason Raj Suri founded Miss India Australia was to help inculcate a sense of confidence in the Australian Indian women, a platform to express their true self.
Today Miss India Australia is more than just a contest, Raj Suri workshops and mentorship programs help to bring out the inner personality of young Indian Australian women living in Australia.
We live in a world where young women have a lot of pressure to always look and perform at their best. This is unsustainable – a social noise where one can just get lost and feel rejected. We need to bring awareness in young women to see their own self in a positive way – every young woman has a unique personality to tap into. Once She is aware of her true gift, the energy will flow from there – Her own inherent positive energy!
