Miss India Australia 2016
SUKHMANI KHAIRA, 23 years old Australian is the Miss India Australia 2016 winner. In addition to English, Sukhmani can speak two more languages – Hindi and Punjabi.
SUKHMANI KHAIRA of Sydney was selected on the basis of her overall performance at the official auditions and the subsequent talent workshops. Miss India Australia 2016 will represent Australia in the Miss India Australia Worldwide grand finale in USA on 9 October 2016.
Sukhmani gets a fully paid 7 days trip to USA , India starting 3 October 2016. Sukhmani will be officially representing Australia, as Miss India Australia, in the Miss India Worldwide 2016 grand finale on 9 October in New Jersey, USA competing against 30 countries. Sukhmani will have the opportunity to network with the worldwide delegates, attend industry events, training and workshops. There will be exciting six days for all the official Worldwide contestants. Some of the highlights of Sukhmani’s trip will include a sight seeing visit to the Atlantic City, visit of the JFK Hospital in Edison to distribute toys to the children, dinner cruise in Manhattan, popular talent night on 6th October, dinner for the delegates hosted by TV Asia and the Grand Finale with Reception on 9 October in Royale Albert Palace in New Jersey.

Meenakshi Shesadri – prominent bollywood actor, Mia Sharma – TV actor, lead actor of Jamai Raja as Roshni on ZEE TV, Manav Gohil – TV actor and anchor, Sandeep Soparrkar – Ace dance and fashion choreographer, Alecia Raut – Prominent model and ramp trainer and Deepak Chopra – Creative Director of various entertainment channels in India.
In USA, as the Miss India Australia 2016 winner, Sukhmani will take part, along with the 35 Worldwide contestants in workshops in Dance and Choreography ( by Sandeep Soparkar) and Self Image/Bollywood Workshop ( by Raj Suri )
Sukhmani Kahira is being sponsored and mentored by Sydney based image and Bollywood consultant Raj Suri and will be exclusively represented via Raj Suri associate talent office in Mumbai.
