Miss India Australia founder, Raj Suri, continues his work to empower Indian Australian young women.

For nearly 10 years, talent mentor, Raj Suri has been helping young Indian Australian women. It goes much more than just getting ready for Bollywood, Raj coaches Australian women on self belief, confidence, cultural intelligence, diversity with his workshops like Face the Camera (to face yourself), personal branding and more. Raj Suri’s workshop has been featured in the Australian SBS Movies and has himself been a judge on the SBS TV reality program Bollywood Star.

The prime reason Raj Suri founded Miss India Australia was to help inculcate a sense of confidence in the Australian Indian women, a platform to express their true self.
Today Miss India Australia is more than just a contest, Raj Suri workshops and mentorship programs help to bring out the inner personality of young Indian Australian women living in Australia.

We live in a world where young women have a lot of pressure to always look and perform at their best. This is unsustainable – a type of social noise where one can just get lost and feel rejected.
