Mrs India Australia 2023

Urvashi Opal Perry from Sydney is Mrs India Australia 2023. Urvashi was selected on the basis of extensive audition modules comprising of screen articulation, on camera confidence and stage walk and more.

Urvashi will be representing Australian in the Mrs India worldwide 2024 overseas.

Hi!
My name is Urvashi Opal and I am from the most beautiful and cultured city in Australia; Sydney. I entered into Raj Suri’s Mrs India Australia 2023 as an opportunity to develop my self-confidence and give back to the community that has given me so much. I am a trained Health Services Management professional, CEO and lecturer, but I strongly identify as a dancer. Dancing is not just a creative outlet for me, it is a form of meditation that allows me to remain in the present and regulate my nervous system. 

About the Audition/Training by Raj Suri

Raj Suri’s vision of a self-empowered Indian-Australian woman navigating the cultural divide with both Indian and Australian values, is one that resonates with me. I was born into a generation and a country that didn’t appreciate the beauty of girls that looked like me, so learning to be kind to myself has been a journey that I’m proud of. So, the audition process became one of meaning, nostalgia and inspiration for me. I’m so grateful to be offered an opportunity to express my most authentic self, give back to my community through seva (service), and inspire other young Indian-Australian women to learn to be kind to themselves also.
